Ciao Niji,
I see... I'm still looking forward to receiving your mail ;)
The start of your University Academic Year is very near, and a lot of new experiences are waiting you just under a subtle veil... I wish you a nice University Life, and I hope you could find yourself at ease there. I'm looking forward to being on your side next year. Ahah, don't forget to subscribe to the JLPT before to leave HK! I think it could be troublesome otherwise.

As I told you today you most likely leave as soon as I'll have to take my entry examination to get access to the School of Advanced Studies Sant'Anna.
You can take a look here: http://www.sssup.it/
Just click of the banner on the up right corner for an English translation.

It is a very famous school in Italy, together with the School of Advanced Studies Normale. Both of them anyway are a piece of the Pisa University. They admit a very few students each year, so it is impossible for most of people to pass the test. I'm not really self-confident to pass it, since my knowledge about Physics is very low, and it's not like the Maths quizes are easy!

About your post... I take the occasion to help you with your English...
"Well, I am surely that I will leave HK before 9/9/2008..."
I'm surely is wrong. 'surely' is an adverb, but actually you can use adverbs only to modify the way an action is done.
the verb 'be' implies as object the state of the subject. Here you mean that You are Sure. Which means that you're in the state of being sure. If you use "I'm surely" then you need to put an object to be modified by 'surely' (sbj + be + adv + obj), which means that you can modify the way you are in the state of being XXX. For example: I'm surely impressed, I'm surely depressed, he's surely unfair, etc...
I hope it's clear now, if not just ask me ;)

See you soon,
yours,

Jacopo

PS you don't need to put "that" ;)
Most of times it sounds more natural if you don't put it.
(it actually instead sounds very Italian if you use it XD)
"Well, I'm sure I'll leave HK before 09/09/2008..."
Anyway in this way it's quite straight forward...
... it sounds so incomplete since you didn't write anything more ^^;;

It seems like ages are passed since your last post... the fact you can't use xanga in China, and many other things, surely had a great impact on it...

Well, this place is a kind of natsukashii~ eheh, there are so many good memories in it. The quizes, the daily life, some little thoughts of yours, sad and happy moments... ^^

Umm~ sometimes I think I am not very good in writing a diary, often I end up giving more an objective description of reality then my feelings. I'd like to catch up so many little things of life, and fix them on the pages of the diary... just to make me remember in the future what was my past like. I'm the kind of person that forgets lots of things about past, while each and every very moment is so important to me. It's a kind of surprising any time someone talks me in the smallest of details about something I did, while I can't remember a single thing! But yet, it's so nice to hear again about a piece of my past I lost.

Looking again at my xanga, I feel a kind of amazed by the many things I wrote! I wonder how much of it you had a chance to read :)

yours,

Jacopo
